From Prototype to Version 1.0

Dear Friends,

you have all seen pictures of the prototype of The Solar Barrow. After a long period of testing, the Qualiworx Engineering Team can confidently confirm: IT WORKS GREAT! We use it on a daily basis to power our office equipment: Laptops, monitors, printer, wifi-router and desk lamps - no worries, it works! The prototype also proved to be a reliable energy provider on our promotion tours and during public presentation on the local markets and innovation exhibitions.

THE SOLAR BARROW IS 100% RELIABLE!!! We experienced zero outages and didn't even have to tighten a single screw or nut.

After a short moment to clap our shoulders, the Qualiworx Engineering Team went back to the drawing board and produced:

Check out the images of below! What did we change?

• The lead-acid battery that stored sunshine in the prototype was replaced by a lighter lithium battery. This loss of weight improved the handling and increased the mobility of The Solar Barrow significantly.

• The Solar Barrow now features mono-chrystalline solar panels which are smaller in size and weigh less than the poly-chrystalline panels that were mounted to the prototype. Yet another improvement of the handling and mobility of the system.

• The Solar Barrow is now fitted with a state-of-the-art charge controller that displays all relevant information such as charging current, system voltage, etc. to the user.

• A small step was attached to the frame to make the adjustment of the solar panels more convenient.

• The AC outlet socket now has IP 66 specifications and is, therefore, 100% waterproof.
